Lindsey Middlemiss

Lindsey Middlemiss is FibroAction's founder & chair of the Board of Trustees/Directors of FibroAction.

Lindsey has had Fibromyalgia Syndrome (Fibro) since 2002 and struggled with the condition for some years before accessing effective treatments and getting her Fibro under control. Lindsey set up FibroAction after experiencing first-hand how detrimental a lack of up-to-date, evidence based information can be.

Formerly a support group leader in West Berkshire, Lindsey worked to raise awareness locally and campaigned the NHS for better provision of services for Fibro sufferers. Lindsey was also the author of a blog 'Living With Fibromyalgia' and moderated on online communities related to Fibro for a number of years, first on Help For IBS and then on ButYouDontLookSick.com.

In her role as FibroAction chair, Lindsey has spoken at medical conferences and support group meetings and has been featured in or contributed to national and local newspaper articles, magazine articles and national and local radio. Lindsey is available for media or speaking engagements that help raise awareness of Fibro.

Simon Middlemiss

Simon set up the FibroAction website and has been involved with FibroAction events since its inception.

Sue Quarrie

Sue Quarrie is one of FibroAction's founding Trustees. She has helped raise awareness on a local scale in the past and now brings her knowledge and skills as a solicitor to FibroAction.
